Baffin er en
utrolig leken kajakk fra Boreal Design. Den har meget lavt volum og
skikkelig knekkspant. For en flink padler betyr dette helt ekstreme
carving egenskaper. Få kajakker svinger like bra som Baffin!!!
Samtidig er Baffin i seg selv meget
retningsstabil, spesielt om en bruker den integrerte senkekjølen. Den
justeres lett med tommelen under padling og gjør det dermed enkelt å
få maksimalt ut av både skrog og kjøl. Baffin har etter vår mening det
absolutte beste sete (for en aktiv padler) som fås i en havkajakk.
Du får maksimal kontakt med kajakken og kan sitte i mange timer.

Polythelen kajakkene er av de stiveste og glatteste på
markedet. Dette sammen med skrogformen gjør kajakken
meget lettpadlet. Roret er fra "Feather craft"
og er et av verdens beste vipperor. Det er flyvinge støpt
og skaper ingen turbulens i vannet, i tillegg er det
ekstremt stivt og flekser ikke selv med stor belastning.
Lukene er i en klasse for seg. De tetteste og mest
lettpakkete vi har sett og hørt om!
INUKSHUK
egner seg bra til tur, trening og langturer. Inukshuk
is the Inuit word for a stone monument that serves as a
marker for travellers in Canada's Far North. The human
form of the pile of flat stones conveys this message to
the Inuit: “Man has been here; you are in known

Fjord er en havkajakk med meget gode bølgeegenskaper. Er du en

The Fjell features our factory installed thigh brace system,
offering uncompromising comfort and control. This ability to
self-custom fit easily guarantees the paddler a level of
performance in a plastic kayak available until now only in a
composite kayak. The reverse hard chine and semi-arched hull

manoeuvrability. Paddlers seeking storage capacity coupled

Muktuk
is an Inuit word for whale hide and fat. Eaten raw, muktuk
is traditional Inuit food. Despite its rubbery consistency,
the Inuit love its hazelnut taste.
Designed for small and medium-sized paddlers, this kayak's
low profile means less space in the cockpit, first-rate
thigh support for the paddler and little wind resistance,
yet there is plenty of room to store gear. The Muktuk is a
comfortable kayak, easy to paddle and very stable.
Excellent manoeuvrability combined with a sleek waterline
make this kayak nimble and quick. Thigh braces are

has innovated with the introduction of a tandem touring
kayak inspired by the Ookpik and Esperanto models. This
tandem comes with a sliding seat for solo paddling. The
kayak’s performance, handling and stability in choppy
waters are quite astonishing for a craft of this category.

combining hard chines and a slightly concave bottom to

Esperanto
is a language used more and more in international
exchanges. It is not the language of a people, but more an
international language that can allow everybody in the
world to understand each other. Today, about 2 million
people in the world speak Esperanto.
This unique kayak is certainly the longest and the fastest
plastic tandem on the market. The Esperanto is easy to
paddle, comfortable and very stable. It can reach
excellent cruising speeds. A moderate rocker, along with a
large rudder, make the kayak easy to turn. The cockpits
offer ample room for the legs and feet. Paddlers are
seated far enough apart to avoid hitting each other’s
paddles, and they are separated by the large central hatch
providing access to cargo space.
A tube along the keel line is secured in place by the two
kayak seats and a microcell “candle“ inserted between
the deck and hull. This system dramatically improves hull
stiffness.

Options
A third hatch can be added to the middle of the
kayak creating additional accessible storage. The
further addition of the child’s seat option in
this compartment adds a fourth bulkhead which
increases flotation capabilities. Like the Beluga,
the Esperanto is safe, manoeuvrable and
exceptionally stable, making it an ideal choice
for introducing a young child to water sports.
Important
A child can be seated in the middle hatch section
of a tandem kayak. Maximum recommended weight is
32 kilograms (70 pounds). We do not recommend
having a child aboard in high winds or choppy
waters. Never tie down a baby to a seat or to the
kayak.
